Library enhances services to meet global benchmark

MS. DOLLY RICARDO, the University Librarian says that every year they are planning to purchase additional computers to provide internet access for students.  The library’s second floor, which currently houses the university’s museum will be renovated to become the Library’s Internet Section.

Butterfly Sanctuary in WiFi Hotspot

The Isabela State University – Non Academic Staff Association (ISU-NASA) builds a butterfly sanctuary at the left wing of the ISU Administration Building in Echague, Isabela. Since the park is a WiFi hotspot, students can enjoy internet connectivity while enjoying the natural view of the park.

 This was the reminder posed by the Regional Higher Education Press Advisers Association (RHEPAA) President, Prof. Ma. Theresa R. Remigio during the regional seminar on campus journalism held at Kimikarlai Hotel, Tuguegarao City on August 28-29, 2009.

Backbone of the economy

THESE TENANTS plant on the rice field inside the University on July 27, 2009 as the nation awaits for President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo to deliver her ninth and last State of the Nation Address in Manila.  Among those which the president mentioned were: recognize the farmers as backbone of our economy, request the Congress to pass the extension of CARP Law, continue building farm to market roads, sold NFA rice at P18.25 even with the low global rice supply and some insinuations for a need to change the charter.

Three ISU grads among the 192 passers of VetMed Licensure exam

Three graduates of the School of Veterinary Medicine (SVM) were among the 192 who made it in the Veterinarian Licensure  Examination given by the Board of Veterinary Medicine in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan De Oro and Tuguegarao.
