ECHAGUE BAGS BIOLOGY QUIZ TITLE; ASSURED A SLOT IN THE NATIONAL QUIZ

The delegates from the Echague campus bag the title for the Qualifying quiz in Biology during the 2009 Inter- Campus Science and Math Quiz today.
Though way behind Cabagan Campus during the preliminary rounds, Jan Kenneth Castro and Christopher A. Dela Cruz, both Veterinary Medicine students, pulled off on the average and difficult rounds until they are declared as winners for the Biology quiz.
Castro and Dela Cruz revealed through that it was a difficult round for them earlier.
“We were afraid, and intimidated by the Cabagan delegates, because they are known for being good in Genetics”, Castro said.
“We are thankful that majority of what we reviewed came out during the quiz.”
Dr. Lariza G. Navarro, trainer and coach of the group also said that they were anticipating more questions in the Genetics, so they reviewed more on Genetics.
The group plans to continue reviewing in preparation for the national quiz in December.
